Simone is a special sweetheart of a girl in a rural southern shelter who deserves the loving home she's never had. She's wonderful with people, cats, and dogs, an easy-going girl who is good on a leash, but as a 5 year old, 48 lb Staffie mix, with one foot missing and infected with heartworm, she didn't have much of a chance to make it out alive. We just couldn't resist that hopefull smile on her face, so we are arranging to have Simone treated at the shelter, after which she will come to our rescue to finally find a home.
Notes from the kennel: Simone is very sweet natured and very dog submissive. She is in a kennel with 3 other dogs, one of whom kept trying to lay on top of her, and she continually ignored her. She is missing her right rear foot - the remaining stump looks fine. Low energy, loving personality, good w cats, good w other dogs, very good on a lead. All in all, a really good dog. We have put her on the HW list and hope that you may be able to receive her by the end of June/early July.
