5/13/12 Pretty Pringles just arrived last night and is just as sweet as promised. One of the volunteers who helped transport her has this to say:" What a total sweetheart! Very friendly and trusting and sweet but not jumpy or clingy (at least with us). She seems to be the most mellow, laid-back girl. ... In short, she will make a lucky adopter very happy. I think she has all the traits of an ideal therapy dog. Since she's been part of a pack for a long time hopefully she can go to a home with other dogs. She was friendly to all the others she met, all sizes and temperaments and energy levels, and a calming influence with the more exuberant ones.
Notes from the shelter: Sweet Pringles is one of four dogs who became "orphans" a couple of weeks ago, when their person died unexpectedly. They haven’t had a great life so far, but they were loved by their owner, a man who lived with them in a lady’s garage. Pretty is about 2-3 years old, and about 30 lbs. Also, so sweet to everybody – humans, dogs and cats. She has a medium length coat, with some feathering around the ears and beautiful light tan markings.
