3/16/17 Elsie is a sweet adorable 6 month old puppy. She has a super soft coat, short legs, and a curly tail, and is unlikely to get much bigger so she's a perfect package.
Although she is timid when meeting new people, she will sneak up and lick hands, then dart away again. She follows us from room to room and is starting to curl up on the chair with me when we watch TV. Although we crate her when we're gone, she cries at night and now sleeps on a dog bed in our bedroom.
As she gets more relaxed , she is starting to play with toys, and is already better about going in and out on the leash, and appears to be housetrained. Elsie ignores the cats and is fine with the dogs, but seems more people orieinted than dogh oriented. She is possessive of her food around the other dogs, but not with people.
Elsie was picked up by Animal control in South Carolina. She is now spayed, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated. All she needs is a home!
