4/25/12 Shelly is a gorgeous sweetheart who just arrived from a southern shelter, and she is smaller and differently colored than her shelter pictures showed. Update from the foster mom: Shelly is doing great. She is a very sweet girl. She is completely house-trained, crate-trained and leash-trained. She gets along great with both the cats and the dogs. She mostly ignores the cats. She is a little shy around men, but still very curious about all people when we are out in the neighborhood walking. She's very playful and energetic. She loves the toy box. She has this funny little mannerism when she's excited to see you. She pulls her upper lip back, which would on most dogs be a growl, but on her is just a weird little smile. I'll try to get some video of it, it hilarious. She's got long legs, and is pretty fast. Can't really pin down her breed mix, but she's got little delicate feet and that great coloration which I tried to get in the pics.
Notes from the shelter: Shelly is a well-mannered mild, lower energy dog. She is fine with other dogs, good with adults and kids and showed no interest in cats.
