12/14/12 Here are a few pictures of Creamsicle sleeping on the back of the couch. He is a super duper kitty. He’s old enough to be cuddled and held(sometimes it is his decision, sometimes mine) but young enough to run and play with toys and the other cats and kittens. He doesn’t pay any attention to the dogs. He lays on the couch with them. He still darts out of the room if he hears something loud that startles him. But comes right back in with his big eyes wide open to investigate what the noise was. I also included a picture of the bag of cat food I brought in yesterday. It took him 6 minutes to rip it open and get a snack. And it wasn’t like he was hungry, there was plenty of dry food out and he had just eaten some can food. He is a super super kitty. He loves to be petted and his fur is so soft. It took him about a week to settle in to our busy house but it seems like he has been here forever because he fits in so well. He is the class clown that likes to get under blankets or towels that may be on the floor. If you see the blanket move, beware because he is going to jump out at you when you walk by. If you don’t see it move, he will scare the daylights out of you when he jumps out. I’m surprised he has stayed in the rescue this long. If someone would give him a chance, he would make a great addition to anyone’s home.
9/16/12 Cream (for Creamsicle) is a big orange & white boy, friendly with people, tolerant of dogs and other cats. He is a little shy in new suituations but then warms up fairly fast. He loves to have his neck rubbed, and to sleep with his people, and likes to nestle under covers. He is still technically a kitten but is already a good size so will be a large cat. Cream is up to date on shots neutered and tested negative for FeLv/FIV.
4/20/12 Cream & Sugar are two brothers, one orange tabby with white, the other white with a little orange tabby spots. They are sweet and playful with other cats and people they know, but not as outgoing with strangers but can be overwhelmed if there is a lot of noise and commotion. Both are neutered, up to date on shots, and FeLV/FIV negative.
In the picture above, Cream and Sugar are the two on the outside while Hunter, another of our foster cats, is hogging the bed. Below is a picture of Cream relaxing. The third picture is a younger Cream & Sugar sent from the shelter that they came from
