Bark in the Park 2010

Join the Chester County, PA Parks & Recreation Department for a fun, family and dog oriented day! This is a day to promote responsible dog ownership and enjoyment of the great outdoors. Local humane and rescue organizations, education displays, food, activity, and craft booths will be present. Skill demonstrations, competitions, and other programs will be held throughout the day. Raindate is Sunday Oct 3rd.
Save the Mummers and MUtts

This event is an opportunity for many communities to come together to help out two charitable causes in need. The Philadelphia Mummers parade is a 110 year-old Philadelphia-based tradition that needs help to keep the tradition of making us smile and laugh every New Year’s Day. TreeTops Animal Rescue saves animals from overcrowded shelters, some of which will be euthanized if not adopted, and provides vet expenses, food, etc. Without support and public awareness of rescues in general, these animals cannot be saved. Our hope for this event is to spread awareness to these two distinctive organizations.
