9/8/16 Update:  Pumpkin is perfect for a person that likes their dog with a little personality.  She is cute and spunky, and has plenty of different vocalizations to communicate her point.  She is good with our two dogs.  She even does good with our other "type A" personality in the house, our Chihuahua.  There are occasionally some territory issues, but just a little grumbling and they settle in.  She is also good with the cats, but will occasionally try to chase them.  She's very playful, but may be a little too aggressive for some cats and kids.  She's all bark and no bite.  She is like a pug in that way, lots of noise when playing so that it sounds like she is trying to pick a fight, but she's not.  She does okay in the crate, but prefers to roam free.  She likes to go into the crate for quiet time and does enjoy a good blanket to snuggle in to.  She is completely house-trained.  She does good on a leash, but does pull a little, so is better with a harness.  She loves being outside and is very curious about the rabbits that live under our shed.  I think if I let her go, she would try to burrow in there to get them.  She is a good alarm system, and will bark at strangers and strange noises, but settles down quickly.  She adjusted quickly her new home, she was perfectly comfortable there within an hour or so of arriving.  I haven't seen any issues with separation anxiety.

12/22/15 Update: Pumpkin is a very sweet loyal dog once she knows you.She jumps up on the couch and lives to sleep under the covers at the bottom of the bed. We do crate her at night and she prefers to have extra blankets in which to burrow under. She gets along with our dog and cats now after a period of adjustment. She will do anything for people food!  Pumpkin is a very sweet loyal dog once she knows you.

She would be great with someone that stays home or is retired since she likes being with someone. She does like cats.
