2/26/15: Cautious Copper is a handsome young orange tabby boy, neutered, vaccinated, and FeLV/FIV negative. They described him as friendly boy at the foster home at the shelter, but he was very overwhelmed moving to a new place, hiding for days and barely even coming out for food at first (the other foster cat hissing at him whenever he moved didn't help). Now we have him in a large cat condo in a different foster home and he is settling in, relaxing on his bed, meowing for attention, rubbing aginst the bars when he sees us, and purring and pussyfooting when we pet him. He's the kind of cat that once he learns to trust you, will be a super sweet boy, but he may always be a scaredy cat who will need a patient owner willing to work with him and give him the time to settle in.
