4/1/12 Duke looks like shepherd/lab mix with the tiny ears of a much smaller dog! He just arrived last night but has already showed us he is as great as the shelter staff said he was. He is submissive with other dogs and is wonderful with the young kids and kittens in his foster home.
Notes from the shelter: Duke - King of Hearts. Duke is a super, super sweet boy, who loves people attention. He is between 1 and 2 years old and has been our shelter representative in the Christmas parade and various other outings where he has been a star! Duke is quiet, likes car rides, walks well on leash, gets along with other dogs, loves people and is great with kids!. Soft, soft fur and the cutest little ears. We feel bad for Duke because nobody has picked him yet, but we feel he will be snatched up if people just met him. Duke was part of the Pet Custom Contest for Halloween & again was pretty darn popular with the kids & enjoyed being with them. He also represented MAMAS in the Bamberg Christmas parade & did very well with all the activity of the day. What a great boy! .
