These pups are the definition of cute! Sassy & Otis are 18 weeks old golden retriever /cocker spaniel (Mix) puppies. They were abandoned in a rural area and when the homeowners couldn't find their owner and couldn't keep them, they placed them with us to find good homes.

These pups are ready for their forever homes. Sassy and Otis: are two peas in a pod; gentle, intelligent, fun, assertive, and competitive.

Their foster caregiver notes they love to cuddle, always happy to take a nap on the sofa. Affectionate toward each other, the other dogs they share they live with. They love people. These two pups are well socialized and attentive toward learning. Sassy and Otis are not crated they have free roam of their puppy-proofed living areas. We use baby gates. Potty training is in progress. They are learning commands and walk well on a leash and travel well in the car.

Oh, the cute things they do! Otis will steal your heart. He takes the leash in his mouth and prances away, with such pride. His head goes up, his tail goes up and he struts his stuff.

Sassy is the first to learn anything and loves to show off her intelligence. Can you say “gifted”?

Athletic and confident: They love their caregivers and want to please. These two are a very special pups that is why we are looking for a family who will do everything to meet their ever changing needs. They are waiting for you.
FYI: Everyone we meet tell us that Otis and Sassy should be adopted together. They are truly 2 peas in a pod. We of course realize that may or may not happen.

Our goal is to produce and have well balanced, well socialized dogs. With each adoption we recommend APDT training; Positive reinforcement training techniques.

A great application provides us with your past dog history/training experience and your plan on how you will provide for these great new pups. This will get you fast results.

1. Seeking a stay at home or work at home adult.

2. There must be an adult applicant available to care for these babies. Puppies cannot be left for more than 3 hours for Potty training purposes/ Socialization; they need to learn the world around them.

3. Fence: we are ONLY accepting 4 sided Non electric fences (please NO escape holes). Please do your repair work you don’t want to delay the adoption. This is a MUST HAVE, I just spent 25 minutes trying to get him to come in. He does not know the come-command. A fence is required.

4. These puppies are only 18 weeks old/they are jumpy, have sharp baby teeth & nails, plus due to the upcoming puppy stages. We are seeking a family with middle school age children and older.

5. These pups are awesome. We want to ensure you and your new puppy a happy long life with though modern education, and the use of APDT positive reinforcement training techniques (hand signals) so when difficult situations arrive you are equipped to handle them with care.

Our Volunteer time slots are 10 A.M. weekdays, afternoon, late afternoon, evenings and weekends. This is a real life purpose. Rescue work is the difference between life and death.
