2/9/08 These pups are the definition of cute! Sassy & Otis are 15 weeks old golden retriever /cocker spaniel (Mix) puppies. They were abandoned in a rural area and when the homeowners couldn't find their owner and couldn't keep them, they placed them with us to find good homes.

Both puppies are VERY friendly and social, good with people, other dogs, and cats. Otis is larger 11 lbs. and paler, and Sassy is the darker and smaller sister, 10 lbs. the pups just had their first Vet visits. Oh, boy, these pups stopped the office, everyone came to see them! These puppies are affectionate, lap pups. Sassy can run and jump onto the sofa already. They love to be held and climb all over you. They of course are doing a lot of chewing and eating.

Otis and Sassy run and play hard with each other. They find comforter in one another. They are at the age where they need a lot of puppy play/socialization and outside experiences, TLC.

You must have time for a puppy. Our goal is to have well balanced, well socialized dogs. With adoption we recommend APDT training; Positive reinforcement training techniques. Please provide your training knowledge and are you willingness to learn this APDT? This is a great family affair.

Otis and Sassy are 15 week old, infants. Infants meaning they need around the clock care.

1. Seeking a stay at home, or work at home adult.

There must be an adult applicant available to care for these babies. Puppies cannot be left for more than 3 hours at any given time for Potty training purposes/ Socialization; they need to learn the world around them. If you are applying for these pups please explain in detail the care you can provide.

2. Fence: only accepting 4 sided Non electric fences please NO escape holes.

3. These puppies are only 15 weeks old/ babies and due to the upcoming puppy stages. We are seeking a family with children 13 years of age and older.

4. Are you interested in using or willing to learn APDT Training Techniques?

5. If you are applying to adopt both pups; please take into consideration the financial cost is double. Can you afford 1 spay, 1 neuter?

The puppies are being fostered in the Jamison, PA. Please take the distance into consideration when applying for these puppies. Distance: We are looking to adopt within a 1 hour driving distance from Jamison, PA 18929 zip code.
