12/01/07 Shayla was adopted today and will have a mom & 2 legged brother to give her all the attention her little heart desires!!
11/10/07 Shayla is an affectionate bassett/beagle girl who just arrived from a WV shelter where she was picked up as a stray. She obviously had puppies recently and is still recovering from being very recently spayed. She is a constantly wagging face-licker where people are concenrned, is fearfully cautious with other dogs, ignores the cats, and appears to be houseborken.
Notes from the Shelter: Shayla is a 2 year old Bassett Hound mix that came to the shelter on Oct. 23, 2007 as a stray. She is leash trained, loves her walks and appears to get along with everyone. She is just a little timid until she becomes used to you . She has a short coat, long tail, short legs and weighs about 32 lbs.
